Here are answers to some common questions about Halloween at CalArts.

Doors open at 10pm, and close at 12 midnight! There is NO in & out/reentry once admitted.
All: Bring your dancing shoes and a government issued ID or passport showing you are over the age of 21 for a drink wristband.
Students: CalArts Student ID for entry.
Guests and Alumnx: Bring your ticket from Eventbrite- it will be scanned.
Yes! The party does include hypoallergenic haze and flashing lights. The party does have a space that we call the CHILL ROOM in D301 for party goers who get overstimulated by production aspects & loud noises.

Yes! Alcohol will be provided to guests who are 21 and up. In order to receive a drink wristband, guests must show at the doors a government issued ID. Alcohol may only be consumed in the designated BEER ROOM of the party. Each eligible guest will receive a wristband with 3 free drink tickets on it. No outside alcohol will be allowed in.
Yep! A nacho bar will be served at 12:30am near the Blue Wall. The nacho bar will include vegan options. There will also be grab and go snacks available throughout the party (supplies limited on snacks).
A Halloween costume. It’s a Halloween party.
Please don’t. All bags (clear or not) will be confiscated at the party check in.
No. All weapons, including foam and costume weapons will be confiscated.
